The 5th Annual National Night Out in Manawa is Tuesday August 7th from 5-8pm. This year's event is taking place at the Manawa Rodeo Grounds - there will be games for kids, a performance by the Pink Ribbon Rebels, bluegrass music by the Chord Trackers (back by popular demand) and a picnic complete with root beer floats. The year The Store joins the event with their "fish tank".
Join us for some lively, audience participation-filled, musical fun with award-winning musician, Randy Peterson. His engaging songs about the joy to be found at the library will have children feeling like reading rock stars.
American Legion Post 226 will be presenting a program for youth for Flag Day on Thursday June 14th at 12:15pm. All ages are welcome for this event where we'll learn about the United States flag. There will be freebies for the kids to take home and snacks will be served. Parents are welcome too.

Science Day with Mr. J is a program of mind blowing science experiments you won't soon forget. This will be Mr. J's 3rd visit to Manawa and it won't be his last. This guy makes science rock!

You won't want to miss our 2018 Summer Reading Program Kick-Off event when Rick Allen and his Beyond Belief Magic Show comes to Manawa! The fun starts at 2:30pm on Tuesday June 12th. Allen has many years of professional magic shows under his belt and his expertly timed and entertaining show will be a hit with all ages.
