Author Talk: Lynda Drews
Lynda Drews, a Wisconsin native, will discuss the research behind her new book Disposable Wives: Murder and Menace in Green Bay’s Rural Belgian Settlement. The Belgian Heritage Center says it is “A gripping account of crime in Wisconsin’s Belgian settlement, this well-researched work provides a rich portrait of the life, laws, and traditions of the era, and the challenges of seeking justice in a new land.”
When Lynda’s not writing, she participates in WRITE ON DOOR COUNTY, the Brown County Community Woman’s Club, and the Brown County Historical Society. She enjoys her grandchildren, takes daily walks, plays bridge, and drinks coffee. The latter is a necessity, even at bedtime.
Join us prior to her talk for our Adult Book Club on Wednesday, December 2 at 4:00 pm to discuss any book written by Lynda Drews.
