Library patrons and staff are pleased to have the parking lot south of the library available! The riverbank has been stabilized with rip-rap (also known as rock armor in British English) and steel pilings, and the blacktop has been replaced where the heavy equipment was used. A bit of landscaping will be completed to level the soil near the curb, and while this completes the shoreline stabilization project, the Sturm Memorial Library Board of Trustees is discussing further landscaping.
